The Italian Embassy in Copenhagen invites young Italian researchers across Denmark to submit applications for its first research award programme “BIRD Award 2018”.
The awards will be presented to Italian researchers operating in Denmark who received part of their education in Italy, in recognition of innovative research conducted in each of the three European Research Council (ERC) domains (see link: ERC Panel Structure 2018):
• Life Sciences (LS)
• Physical and Engineering Sciences (PE)
• Social Sciences and Humanities (SH)
All applications must be submitted in PDF format to the email address info.iiccopenaghen@esteri.it indicating the subject BIRD Award 2018 – Application.
The deadline for applications is by 11.59 pm on April 30th, 2018. Given your requests to extend the period to complete the application process, we are pleased to inform you that the deadline has been postponed to the 10th of May 2018 (by 11:59 PM).
The awards will be presented during a ceremony at the Italian Institute of Culture in Denmark on the Italian National Day, held from 5-7 pm on June 8th, 2018
