Award 2018 \u2013 Best young Italian Researcher in Denmark"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"resource\/img\/2018\/03\/bird_logo.jpg\" alt=\"bird logo\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Italian Embassy in Copenhagen invites young Italian researchers across Denmark to submit applications for its first research award programme \u201cBIRD Award 2018\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The awards will be presented to Italian researchers operating in Denmark who received part of their education in Italy, in recognition of innovative research conducted in each of the three European Research Council (ERC) domains (see link: ERC Panel Structure 2018):<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022 Life Sciences (LS)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022 Physical and Engineering Sciences (PE)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022 Social Sciences and Humanities (SH)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All applications must be submitted in PDF format to the email address <a href=\"mailto:info.iiccopenaghen@esteri.it\">info.iiccopenaghen@esteri.it<\/a> indicating the subject BIRD Award 2018 \u2013 Application.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The deadline for applications is <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">by 11.59 pm on April 30th, 2018<\/span>. <span><span style=\"color: red;\">Given your requests to extend the period\u00a0to\u00a0complete the application process, we are pleased to inform you that the deadline has been postponed to the 10th of May 2018 (by 11:59 PM)<\/span><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The awards will be presented during a ceremony at the Italian Institute of Culture in Denmark on the Italian National Day, held from <strong>5-7 pm on June 8th, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All info is available <a href=\"resource\/doc\/2018\/03\/bird_2018_final_call_2.pdf\">HERE (BIRD Award 2018 Call)<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We are looking for sponsors of this event.
